Truist analyst Youssef Squali initiated coverage of DoorDash with a Hold rating and $190 price target. DoorDash grew to account for 50% share of U.S. online food delivery in 2020, noted Squali, who also sees DoorDash having "ample room for growth over time." However, he believes "2020 will be a tough act to follow" and the stock's current valuation, plus tough comparisons the company will be facing, keep him on the sidelines.

DoorDash initiated with a Perform at Oppenheimer » 07:5601/0401/04/21
Oppenheimer analyst Jason…
Oppenheimer analyst Jason Helfstein initiated coverage of DoorDash with a Perform rating on valuation. The analyst notes that the company's early focus on suburban markets has created a unique first-mover advantage, yielding a market-leading 48% share of third-party online delivery, driving an enticing, profitable unit economic profile that will fund international expansion efforts and a movement upstream toward accelerating share gains in the Tier-1 markets. While his forecasted revenue growth profile at a 28% 2020-2025 CAGR is compelling, Helfstein believes shares are fully valued trading at 11times 2022 EV/revenue, a 19% premium to peers, with growth 17% slower than peers.
