Magal Security has won contracts amounting to $2.4M, supporting the critical perimeter security infrastructure of airports. Most of the awards were for two major international airports, but also includes products and services for several other airports globally. The majority of orders were for the maintenance related to previously purchased products and services from Magal.
Magal Security announced that it has received approximately $8M in orders from East Africa over the past several months. A large portion of these are recurring revenues related to the servicing of sensors protecting the perimeter of a key seaport in the region for a customer that Magal has worked with over many years. Delivery of these orders has started and will continue over the coming few quarters.
Magal Security announced that it has recently been awarded a $5.5M contract for the supply of its advanced perimeter intrusion detection technology systems, which will be used to enhance security and prevent infiltration across an international border fence or wall. This award is a part of an existing project whereby Magal's systems will provide a unique solution as the technological heart of that project.
Magal Security has been awarded a $6.7M 34 month contract, for the maintenance of border perimeter intrusion detection systems. Under this contract, Magal will maintain previously installed systems covering over 200 km of border.
Magal Security Systems announced that it has won $4.2M in contracts for the supply of electro-optic systems for the Israeli Ministry of Defense. The systems will be mounted and integrated on to various military vehicles, providing full day and night observation capability. Deliveries will be throughout this year and next.
Magal Security Systems announced that it has won a $2.5M contract to deliver technology and services to the Port of Huelva in Spain.This new project is an extension of the overall security solution which was delivered by Magal to the port in prior years. The solution includes the coverage of the port's perimeter with anti-climb smart fences, combined day/night and thermal cameras using dual thermal and CCD technologies.
