As previously reported,…
As previously reported, BofA analyst Elizabeth Suzuki downgraded O'Reilly Automotive to Neutral from Buy with an unchanged price target of $680. While she continues to view O'Reilly as a "high-quality" auto parts retailer with a balanced mix of do-it-yourself and do-it-for-me customers, given current trading levels there is only about 13% upside to her unchanged price target, warranting a lower rating, Suzuki said.

Genuine Parts added to Tactical Outperform List at Evercore ISI » 08:2709/1609/16/21
GPC, AAP, ORLY
Evercore ISI analyst Greg…
Evercore ISI analyst Greg Melich is adding Genuine Parts (GPC) to the firm's Tactical Outperform List, noting that the stock has faded from $130 in May but he remains above Street consensus in terms of EPS estimates for this quarter and the calendar year. He is raising his base case view of the stock price to $135, citing his view that Genuine is positioned to recapture its usual S&P multiple versus its current discount. Pricing in both auto and industrial appears to be accelerating, which is also good news for Outperform-rated Advance Auto Parts (AAP) and O'Reilly Automotive (ORLY), said Melich, who has an In Line rating on Genuine Parts shares ahead of its earnings report due in mid-October.

Five Below (FIVE) downgraded to Equal Weight from Overweight at Morgan Stanley with analyst Simeon Gutman saying the downgrade is prompted by a balanced risk/reward skew, a fairly priced equity, and adherence to the "mid-cycle" rotation theme. 4. Marvell (MRVL) downgraded to Hold from Buy at Craig-Hallum with analyst Christian Schwab saying that while the company's "strong" execution continues, he struggles to justify a higher share price relative to current levels. 5. O'Reilly Automotive price target raised to $670 from $660 at Wells Fargo » 08:1207/2907/29/21
Wells Fargo analyst…
Wells Fargo analyst Zachary Fadem raised the firm's price target on O'Reilly Automotive to $670 from $660 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The analyst notes that while O'Reilly Automotive delivered yet "another impressive print," the analyst sees shares slightly lower as +9.9% comps landed just short of +LDD% buyside expectations, while rising costs and incremental Q2 investments drove the company's first quarter of contracting EBIT margins since Q1 last year. That said, underlying trends accelerated nicely despite waning stimulus benefits, with 2-year comps +320bps versus Q1, and better-than-expected May/June volumes continuing into July ahead of easing August/September compares, Fadem adds.
