Shares of Vulcan Materials (VMC), Eagle Materials (EXP), Granite Construction (GVA), Nucor (NUE), Quanta Services (PWR), Jacobs (J), Martin Marietta (MLM) and U.S. Concrete (USCR) are among the infrastructure levered stocks that are moving higher after President Trump said in a tweet this morning that "this is the time to do our decades long awaited Infrastructure Bill. It should be VERY BIG & BOLD, Two Trillion Dollars, and be focused solely on jobs and rebuilding the once great infrastructure of our Country!" Riley FBR analyst Alex Rygiel downgraded to Neutral from Buy PGT Innovations (PGTI), Tecnoglass (TGLS), Builders FirstSource (BLDR), BMC Stock Holdings (BMCH), TRI Pointe (TPH), Legacy Housing (LEGH) and RCM Technologies (RCMT) to incorporate the broadening impact of COVID-19 on the global economy. Citi analyst Andrew Kaplowitz says Quanta Services (PWR) remains his top pick in the Engineering & Construction space heading into the Q4 earnings season, followed by Aecom (ACM), MasTec (MTZ) and Jacobs (J). With valuations "less forgiving than before," stock selectivity is key, says Kaplowitz, who continues to like value names. The analyst continues to believe that the space is "only starting to get the respect it deserves." He opened a "positive catalyst watch" on Aecom given the potential acquisition-related benefits and a negative watch on MasTec given the company's back-half loaded year.
