Baird analyst Vikram Kesavabhotia lowered the firm's price target on GoodRx (GDRX) to $6 from $7 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The analyst said as he reviewed the consensus estimates, it seems the Street is still aggressive for both 2022 and 2023 adjusted EBITDA estimate. He noted with no updates on its relationship with Kroger (KR), it is possible that this headwind may persist for a while.

MKM Partners analyst Bill Kirk raised the firm's price target on Kroger to $55 from $48 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The analyst states that the combination of the company's fuel rewards and a top-tier private label program distinguish Kroger in an environment where people are increasingly looking to reduce miles driven and find savings per gallon while also lowering its food expenditures. Kirk adds that with Kroger being significantly below its target leverage range, he expects a new buyback authorization to be announced as soon as its June 23rd shareholder meeting.

Morgan Stanley analyst Simeon Gutman raised the firm's price target on Kroger to $41 from $38 and keeps an Underweight rating on the shares. The analyst, who highlights a "few positives" that were "offset by some negatives" in the company's Q1 report, admits that his rating "has been wrong" in 2022 given Kroger's "status as a bellwether grocer." While acknowledging that the stock may continue to outperform in the near-term in "a macro- and factor-dominated tape," he maintains an Underweight rating given his view that the fundamental path is likely to get tougher for Kroger.

Deutsche Bank analyst Krisztina Katai raised the firm's price target on Kroger to $53 from $50 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares post the Q1 results. The company delivered an 11% earnings beat along with a 10c guidance raise for 2022, but ID sales came in light considering elevated inflation and big box peers posting low double-digit growth in Q1, Katai tells investors in a research note.

Citi analyst Paul Lejuez came away from Kroger's Q1 earnings call "incrementally cautious on an otherwise in-line quarter." Average basket size was up, driven by retail price increases, but units were down, while traffic was up slightly, Lejuez tells investors in a research note. With cost pressures continuing, Kroger may feel pressure to invest in price to recapture market share, which would drive gross margin erosion, says the analyst. He keeps a Sell rating on the shares with a $45 price target.
