Stocks remain lower as Dow looks set to snap win streak

Stocks remain lower and have been in a holding pattern since the opening hour. The averages have moved in a narrow range with each of the major indices down roughly 0.2% with about two hours left in the session. Declining stocks are ahead of advancing stocks by over 5:4 while down volume is further ahead of up volume. Oil prices are lower by 0.8% while gold is higher by 0.5%.
