Futures slightly higher ahead of economic data as more banks report

Stock futures are a little higher as investors go over some new earnings reports from some of the major banks. Still to come, investors will be watching the economic calendar today for reports on consumer prices, advance retail sales, business inventories, and consumer confidence. In early pre-market trading, Dow futures are 35 points above fair value, Nasdaq futures are 9 points above fair value and S&P futures are 3 points above fair value.
