Futures point to lower open as volatility continues

Stock futures are deep in negative territory, suggesting a lack of follow through from yesterday's rally and a continuation of the volatility experienced over the past two weeks. Once again there is little scheduled for release from the economic calendar and there were few surprises from the earnings announcements last night and this morning. Oil prices are also seeing some early weakness and have now dipped below $59 a barrel. In early pre-market trading, Dow futures are 128 points below fair value, Nasdaq futures are 31 points below fair value and S&P futures are 12 points below…
