Stock futures drifted lower during the early session as corporate earnings remain in focus. Also being watched are oil prices, which continue to rise and are now above $69 a barrel. The early economic data, which included in-line weekly jobless claims data and a better than expected Philadelphia Fed survey, had little effect on the futures. The futures action led to a lower open for the broader market as investors digest the latest round of earnings and look to the leading economic indicators report scheduled for release at 10:00 am ET. In early trading, the Dow is down 92 points, the Nasdaq is down 35 points and the S&P is down 12 points.
