Markets open with gains for oil and equities

Stock futures improved during the early session, leading to a higher open for the broader market. The consumer prices report issued prior to the open came in warm, which should be well received as it may lead investors and traders to believe it will keep the Fed on its gradual tightening path. Oil prices are also doing better and bouncing off the yearly low that WTI hit yesterday. Oil prices are higher by nearly 3% in early trading while the S&P is up 9 points, the Dow is up 62 points and the Nasdaq is up 17 points.
