2019-02-21 12:43:02 | Tesla falls after Consumer Reports pulls recommendation on Model 3Consumer Reports said it can no longer recommend the newest Tesla, the Model 3 electric sedan, "because members say they've identified a number of problems with their cars, including issues with its body hardware, as well as paint and trim." Consumer Reports calls the Model 3 a "critical car" for Tesla, noting it represents the automaker's first attempt at a true mass-market electric vehicle. The Model 3 rollout was "plagued by numerous production delays and extraordinarily long wait times for customers who put down orders more than a year before delivery," Consumer Reports added. Shares of Tesla are down $4.10 to $298.46 after the report. Reference Link | |
