S&P continues climbing ahead of Fed rate meeting


The S&P is rising again in early trading after having hit a five-month high yesterday and the Dow and Nasdaq are also seeing some modest early gains. Investors continue to wait for the Fed, as the central bank will announce a rate decision later this week and possibly offer more clarity on its rate setting plans for the remainder of this year. About an hour into trading, the S&P is up 11 points, the Dow is up 139 points and the Nasdaq is up 21 points.
