News that the Mueller investigation didn't overtly link President Donald Trump to Russian collusion has failed to inspire much investor demand for stocks in early trading, as the major averages are all down about an hour into the session. In the early economic reports, the Chicago Fed national activity index fell 0.04 ticks to -0.29 in February and the Dallas Fed manufacturing survey for March fell to 8.3 from a prior reading of 13.1. About an hour into trading, the S&P is down 5 points, the Dow is down 35 points and the Nasdaq is down 36 points.
