B. Riley FBR upgrades 'extremely compelling' WideOpenWest to Buy

B. Riley FBR analyst Zack Silver upgraded WideOpenWest to Buy from Neutral with a price target of $8, up from $6, following the company's Q2 results. The analyst says his "renewed enthusiasm" on the shares is predicted on WideOpenWest taking a more disciplined approach to spending, its early success in pivoting to a broadband-centric model, and accelerating sell-through of its higher performance internet packages and Whole Home WiFi. The stock's current valuation is "extremely compelling here," Silver tells investors in a research note. WideOpenWest in afternoon trading is up 13%, or 73c, to $6.35.
