On the redemptions side, the largest outflows were from bond funds totaling over 38.9% of outflows. Those funds were the iShares 7-10 Year Treasury Bond ETF (IEF) and SPDR Portfolio Intermediate Term Treasury ETF (SPTI). There were also notable outflows from the iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM) and SPDR S&P Dividend ETF (SDY). On the creations side, gold ETFs once again dominated as they have for the prior two weeks. Inflows to the SPDR Gold Trust (GLD) and iShares Gold Trust (IAU) in aggregate totalled over 25% of inflows. Bond funds saw significant inflows as well including the iShares iBoxx USD High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (HYG), SPDR Bloomberg Barclays High Yield Bond ETF (JNK), iShares Short-Term Corporate Bond ETF (IGSB), and Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF (BND) which accounted for over 36% of inflows. |
