Fly Intel: Top five analyst upgrades
Catch up on today's top five analyst upgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. Beyond Meat (BYND) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Citi with analyst Wendy Nicholson saying while the company reported a disappointing end to 2020, largely owing to weak foodservice revenues and higher-than-expected overhead costs, Nicholson considers the issues that impacted Q4 to be mostly temporary and sees much of the bad news as already well-known and largely priced into the stock. 2. Zoom Video (ZM) upgraded to Overweight from Neutral at Piper Sandler with analyst James Fish saying the company reported a "very strong" end to fiscal 2021 and "better than feared" initial fiscal 2022 guidance, with Zoom Phone adoption and continued wins in Meetings both contributing to the upside. 3. Dow Inc. (DOW) upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Wells Fargo with analyst Michael Sison believing the combination of strong demand and the impact from the recent Winter Storm Uri supply will drive upside to earnings in 2021E. 4. LyondellBasell (LYB) upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Wells Fargo with analyst Michael Sison saying coupled with Storm Uri's impact, supply should prove to be a positive catalyst for chemical margins in 2021. 5. Norwegian Cruise Line (NCLH), Royal Caribbean (RCL), Carnival plc (CUK) and Carnival (CCL) all upgraded to Outperform from Neutral at Macquarie.
