Catch up on today's top five analyst downgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. Deere (DE) downgraded to Market Perform from Outperform at BMO Capital with analyst Joel Tiss saying the analyst views Deere as "less compelling" with the shares up nearly 40% this year and almost 350% over the past five years. 2. Lumentum (LITE) downgraded to Equal Weight from Overweight at Morgan Stanley with analyst Meta Marshall stating that its short term demand drivers are more challenged "in a sector that trades on short term drivers." 3. Athene Holding (ATH) downgraded to Neutral from Buy at UBS with analyst Brian Meredith citing the company's pending merger with Apollo (APO) which is expected to close in Q1 of 2022, noting that his increased price target also reflects the deal for Athene holders to receive a fixed ratio of 1.149 shares of Apollo. 4. Graybug Vision (GRAY) downgraded to Market Perform from Outperform at SVB Leerink and downgraded to Hold from Buy at Needham. 5. Soliton (SOLY) downgraded to Neutral from Overweight at Cantor Fitzgerald with analyst Louise Chen saying she does not see any additional bidders stepping in for Soliton since the company has already run a process for the deal.
