Fly Intel: Top five analyst upgrades

(IEX) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Citi with analyst Vladimir Bystricky viewing the company's "diversified and well-positioned portfolio, differentiated culture/business strategy, and solid capital deployment potential" as supporting "good" long-term earnings growth that should drive shares higher over time. 2. Thermo Fisher (TMO) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Citi with analyst Patrick Donnelly believing the shares are trading at a discount that is "unwarranted" given what he views as a "de-risked" and "clean" setup for shares ahead of Q3 and into next year. 3. Halliburton (HAL) upgraded to Buy from Hold at Argus with analyst Bill Selesky saying the rating change is driven by improving energy market fundamentals, which he expect to result in higher 2022 capital spending by E&P companies. 4. TE Connectivity (TEL) upgraded to Outperform from In Line at Evercore ISI with analyst Amit Daryanani expecting the company to benefit from a multi-year auto production cycle. 5. FTC Solar (FTCI) upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Barclays with analyst Moses Sutton saying shares of Array Technologies (ARRY) have outperformed those of FTC by 75% since July 1 and while he is "aware" of the Array margin recovery thesis, he expects it to come as a trade-off with market share.
