Lennar (LEN) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Goldman Sachs with analyst Susan Maklari saying the company's roll out of larger, volume focused communities should support double digit revenue growth and EBIT margin expansion. 3. American Equity (AEL) upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at Keefe Bruyette with analyst Ryan Krueger expecting "meaningful benefits" from the company's 2021 transition to emerge in 2022 and beyond, including significant capital deployment, increasing fee-based earnings from reinsurance usage, improving investment spreads, and an ongoing recovery in annuity sales. 4. Capital One (COF) upgraded to Neutral from Underperform at Baird with analyst David George saying card stocks have meaningfully lagged financials overall since the Q3 earnings season, and the risk/reward of Capital One is now more balanced in the low $140s. 5. DTE Energy (DTE) upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Wells Fargo with analyst Neil Kalton viewing the recent relative underperformance versus peers as providing an attractive entry point into "one of the higher quality names" in his coverage universe.
