NPD video game sales data is down 6% for the full September quarter, Piper Jaffray analyst Michael Olson tells investors in a research note. Electronic Arts' (EA) Madden NFL was the top selling title for all of Q3, followed closely by Take-Two (TTWO) titles NBA 2K20 and Borderlands 3, Olson says. He views the NPD results are neutral for Activision Blizzard (ATVI), given no major launches for the quarter. The analyst maintains Overweight ratings on Activision, EA and Take Two.
