Craig-Hallum analyst Richard Shannon raised his price target for Lumentum (LITE) to $105 from $95 saying the company continues to execute well within a favorable environment across nearly all of its major product lines, as its "strong" Q2 results and F3Q guidance demonstrate. The analyst continues to "be amazed by the tepid valuation" that Lumentum's stock has received given its "strong" performance over the past couple of years, and the mostly likely contributor to that is its status as an Apple (AAPL) supplier. With "strong" earnings growth potential and valuation improvement, Shannon sees Lumentum as a top idea for 2020, and reiterates our Buy rating on Lumentum's shares.

BofA analyst Wamsi Mohan lowered the firm's price target on Apple to $200 from $215 as he applies a lower multiple on increased macro and supply chain headwinds and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Mohan views the installed base as a key indicator of the potential of Apple's ecosystem and notes that the overall base has grown to over 1.8B units. In that context, Mohan said his installed base analysis indicates his prior iPhone estimates may be too conservative and he raised his FY23 and FY24 iPhone unit estimates from to 237M and 230M, respectively.
