Oppenheimer analyst Glenn Greene notes that PayPal (PYPL) delivered "strong" Q4 results. Somewhat concerning, TPV growth decelerated 500bps to 22% year over year, which largely reflects lapping the iZettle acquisition and continued eBay (EBAY) softness, he contends. The analyst also points out that PayPal provided increased core fiscal year 2020 EPS guidance, offset by Honey dilution and an accounting change. He reiterates an Outperform rating and $125 price target on the shares.
