Citi analyst Patrick Donnelly views the post-earnings selloff yesterday in shares of Thermo Fisher as a buying opportunity. The company posted "solid" Q4 results but weakness in its Analytical Instruments business, particularly in China, and 2020 organic growth guidance of ~5% versus seemingly high buy-side expectations sent shares lower, Donnelly tells investors in a research note. The analyst, however, views Thermo's 2020 guidance as appropriate, leaving room to the upside. He raised his price target for the shares to $390 from $380 and keeps a Buy rating on the name.
