- Transphorm (TGAN) up 27% after Renesas Electronics (RNECY) announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which a subsidiary of Renesas will acquire all outstanding shares of Transphorm's common stock for $5.10 per share in cash
- Ceragon Networks (CRNT) up 9% after signing an agreement with "a global integrator" in support of a network modernization project for a Tier 1 Operator in India
- Chesapeake (CHK) up 2% after the company and Southwestern Energy (SWN) announced that they have entered into an agreement to merge in an all-stock transaction valued at $7.4B, or $6.69 per share
- Salesforce (CRM) up 1% after Baird upgraded the stock to Outperform with a price target of $300, up from $240
- Occidental Petroleum (OXY) up 1% after disclosing Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) and Warren Buffett now hold a 34.0% stake

- YanGuFung (YGF) down 11% after announcing that the company has been informed by the family members of Junguo He, the CEO and chairman of the board of directors of the company, and Kui Shi, the CFO of the company, that the two have been detained by certain Public Safety Bureau of Shanghai, China, and are currently under investigation by Shanghai Police
- Hertz (HTZ) down 3% after disclosing it will sell approximately 20,000 electric vehicles from its U.S. fleet, or about one-third of the global EV fleet, and issuing Q4 guidance
- Southwestern Energy (SWN) down 2% after Chesapeake and the company announced that they have entered into an agreement to merge in an all-stock transaction
