"Box Office Battle" is The Fly's weekly roundup of what movies topped the weekend's box office.
Paramount's (PARA) "Bob Marley: One Love" won this weekend at the North American box office with another $13.5M for a domestic tally of $72.2M. Overseas, the music biopic has amassed almost $50M for a global total of $120.6M.
BOX OFFICE RUNNER-UPS: Sonic's (SONY) "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To the Hashira Training" placed number two with a $11.7M debut from 1,949 theaters. Behind it was the faith-based film from Lionsgate (LGF.B) "Ordinary Angels" with a $6.5M debut. Sony's "Madame Web" placed number four with a disappointing $6M in its sophomore outing. Rounding out the top five, Comcast (CMCSA) subsidiary Universal "Migration" grossed an estimated $3M from 2,434 locations.
