Ron Etergino
Ron joined The Fly in 1998 and became President in 2002. He is responsible for leading the company's strategic direction and managing the flow of information that drives breaking news alerts. Ron earned a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Tulane University and has a MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
Brendan Martin
Brendan has been the CTO of The Fly since 1997. He's also the President and Founder of The Working World, an NGO pioneering microfinance through low interest, zerodebt, zerocollateral loans to cooperative enterprises.
Jay Mahr
Jay is Chief Content Officer at The Fly, leading the breaking news coverage and editorial content while also managing the day-to-day operations. Jay oversees a team that includes writers, journalists, editors, customer service and marketing personnel to research, develop, and produce news summaries daily. He earned an Economics degree from Rutgers University.
Jason Keil
As Managing Editor, Jason monitors numerous sources for breaking news and assigns, writes and edits short-form alerts for The Fly's breaking news feed. Jason also identifies developing news that warrants additional reporting and heads up the creation of longer-form stories on market movers. Jason earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rutgers University.
Eric Buscemi
Eric is a Senior Editor at The Fly, helping to head up the longer-form editorial content while leading the evening breaking news team. He has worked at the company since 2005. He has also been published in multiple literary journals. Eric has a Master of Arts degree in English from the City University of New York-Queens College.
Laurie Pasternack Chan
Laurie Pasternack Chan is a Senior Editor at The Fly, coordinating news wire coverage in addition to editing many of the site's news stories. She joined The Fly as a staff writer in November 2006. Laurie has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Binghamton University.
