Action Alert: the Dow's winning streak came to an end after President Trump's comments on North Korea. The Dow was headed for a 10th consecutive fresh all-time peak just shy of 22,180 when Present Trump promised North Korea will be "met with fire and furry like the world has never seen," if Kim Jung Un continues to threaten. That warning was sufficient to engender some profit taking on the Dow which has not suffered a downturn since July 24. The slipped 33 points (-0.15%) to 22,085. Additionally, just after the close, Disney reported an earnings miss. There wasn't much of a flight out of risk, however, as Treasury yields remained slightly higher on the day.
