General Dynamics Information Technology awarded $553M IDIQ contract
General Dynamics Information Technology, or GDIT, will continue its support of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA's, Research and Development High Performance Computing System, or R&D HPCS. NOAA awarded CSRA LLC, a managed affiliate of GDIT, the $553M indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, or IDIQ contract. It includes a base period of nine years with one option year. CSRA LLC was awarded the initial contract on May 7, 2010. The new contract was signed on June 14, with a period of performance through June 13, 2028. Under the IDIQ contract, GDIT, through its affiliate CSRA LLC, will provide the labor, materials, high performance computing components and technical expertise required to operate, maintain and enhance NOAA's R&D HPCS.
