U.S. corporate bond update: the calendar has picked up now that many companies are out of earnings blackouts, and as market conditions are more conducive. Estimates range from $20 B to $25 B for the week. There is a lot of competition from the Treasury this week too with $244 B in bills and coupons on tap. Ford Motor Credit announced a benchmark 3-year fixed/FRN, and a 7-year. Bank of NY Mellon has a benchmark 5- and 10-year offering. Discover Bank plans a $500 M 10NC5. ICE is selling 5-, 10-, and 30-year maturities. American Water Capital has a 10- and 30-year deal slated. Intercontinental Exchange has a 5-, 10-, and 30-year. Ventas Realty plans a $600 M 10-year. PACCAR Financial is selling $350 M in in 3-year notes and $300 M in 5-year paper.
