Asian Market Wrap: Stock markets continued to rally during the Asian session after a strong close on Wall Street yesterday. Risk appetite is back after robust U.S. data yesterday added to hopes that the fallout from the latest round of U.S.-China tariffs can be contained and that there will be deals on trade and Brexit eventually, despite little progress at the informal EU summit yesterday. 10-year Treasury yields moved up 1.3 bp to 3.076%, JGB yields jumped 1.6 bp to 0.125% as stocks pushed higher. Topix and Nikkei are up 1.01% and 1.06% respectively, the Hang Seng gained 1.13% so far and the CSI 300 is up 1.80%. U.S. stock futures are also broadly higher, oil prices are slightly lower and the November Nymex future is trading at USD 70.25 per barrel.
