Asian Market Wrap:
Asian Market Wrap: 10-year Treasury yields are up 0.2 bp at 3.112%, JGB yields fell back 0.1 bp to 0.098%. Global yields remain far below the highs seen earlier in the year as market volatility and concerns about the outlook for world growth undermine rate hike expectations. Asian stock markets traded mixed, after a positive close on Wall street. Japanese markets were under pressure again as the yen strengthened and Topix and Nikkei lost -059% and -0.57%, while China and Hong Kong outperformed. The Hang Seng erased most of its early losses and is down 0.09%, while Shanghai and Shenzen Comp are up 0.62% and 1.01%. The ASX closed -0.10% lower, but most other markets are higher in Asia, while U.S.futures are heading south as U.S. Commerce Secretary Ross dampened hopes of a U.S-China deal. The pound started to stabilise after yesterday's sell off and the front end Nymex future is trading at USD 56.97 per barrel.
