The film, playing at over 4,600 theaters, is expecting to open in the range of $170M-$190M over the six-day holiday "weekend," and Box Office Mojo estimates a three-day opening weekend domestic gross of $80M or higher.
'MIDSOMMAR' ALSO OPENING: Also opening this weekend, and expected to finish just outside the top five, is A24's horror film "Midsommar," which started playing on Wednesday and is expecting a five-day debut in the $9M-15M range.
