Foresight Autonomous subsidiary to conduct accident prevention solution trial
Foresight Autonomous announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Eye-Net Mobile, will conduct in Israel a large-scale trial of its Eye-Net cellular-based accident prevention solution for the first time. This trial marks the result of two-and-a-half years of development activities, and represents a transition from technology to product. Thousands of users are expected to participate in the five-day trial, which will take place from July 24 until July 29th. The trial is open to the general public and is limited to the first 30,000 enrolled participants. Universal Transportation Solutions and the Eldan, two global and local car rental and leasing groups; Trade Mobile, a trade-in company of leading car importers in Israel; as well as Shagrir, an Israeli provider of towing and roadside assistance services, have expressed willingness to participate in the trial. Eye-Net is a cellular-based vehicle-to-everything accident prevention solution designed to protect the most vulnerable road users in real time-including pedestrians, cyclists, scooter drivers and car drivers-by providing collision alerts when the road users have no direct line of sight. Eye-Net relies on proprietary technology, a set of algorithms, advanced system architecture and existing cellular infrastructure.
