Bell-Boeing awarded $146.04M Navy contract modification for MV-22 upgrades
Bell-Boeing was awarded a $146,04M modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee, fixed-price-incentive-firm-target and firm-fixed-price contract. This modification exercises the option to upgrade nine MV-22 aircraft from the Block B to the Block C configuration, as well as planned maintenance intervals for eight MV-22 aircraft, in support of the common configuration-readiness and modernization, or CC-RAM, program. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania and Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed in March 2022. FY18 and FY20 aircraft procurement and FY20 operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $146.04M will be obligated at time of award, $6,05M of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
