Stock futures have improved as the morning has progressed and are now pointing to a positive open for the broader market. Comments from St. Louis Fed President Bullard may be helping, as he suggested Wall Street may be overestimating the number of rate increases that may be needed this year. Investors will be watching the weekly jobless claims data, the DOE oil inventory data, and the EIA natural gas inventory figures later this morning. In pre-market trading, Dow futures are 25 points above fair value, Nasdaq futures are 14 points above fair value and S&P futures are 7 points above fair value.
