For the week, the Russell 2000 (RUT) is set to end the week lower but continues to relatively outperform the S&P 500 (SPX). At time of writing the index was at 1582.43. At that price resistance is at the 1603 area and then at the life high at 1615.52. Support is at the 1550 area. Sector breadth was positive but with a number of sectors only fractionally on the upside. The worst performers were Consumer Cyclicals, Consumer Staples, and Basic Materials.
