Futures quiet in early trading

Stock futures are mixed and little changed as investors prepare for the next round of earnings reports. Some of the nation's largest industrial companies have been reporting this morning, including General Electric (GE), Honeywell (HON) and Schlumberger (SLB). There is little else for investors to key on as the domestic economic calendar has no major releases scheduled for today. Oil prices are moving a bit off their recent highs to slip back below $68 per barrel.
