David Tepper says long oil stocks, cites Occidental as example

Appaloosa Management's David Tepper said today at the Robin Hood Investors Conference that he's long oil stocks, and cited Occidental Petroleum (OXY) as an example. Shares of Occidental are up 4% to $30.25 following the comments. Other companies in the oil space include BP (BP), Chevron (CVX), ConocoPhillips (COP), Exxon Mobil (XOM), Royal Dutch Shell (RDS.A) and TotalEnergies (TOT).
